This may sound counter intuitive. Aren't they the enemy here? We don't think so. For most investors, firing the founder is the last resort. After all, much of the original investment decision was based on the belief in the founder's ability to execute the vision. The problem is often that when the going gets tough, they don't have the time, expertise and mandate required to solve the problems. Therefore are also a partner to investors, helping them to save and maximize the value of their portfolio companies.
